I'm always looking for new I/R fantasy, so I was pumped when I found this.

Elves (think Legolas) and dragons- you know I was In!

Orlando Bloom as Legolas inPeter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

The good:
Great story with a surprise ending. This was my first book by Ms. Pierce and I was very impressed that I could see every word in my head as a full length feature film.

The bad:
Not enough of romance. The term "duology" something about irks me.

Overall:
I devoured this book, literally. I read this in two days; took me so long because I kept being interrupted by work, house stuff, and a very vocal husband demanding selfishly that I pay some attention to him. How rude!
